XePlayer emulates an Android operating system on Windows platforms, which gives you the possibility of running apps from the Play Store on your computer. The software is made to look like a tablet and it also does everything a real-life tablet does. You can connect to the Internet, browse websites, download and install apps and much more. In many situations, the software will feel even better than an actual tablet.

Although XePlayer's setup package is small and it can be downloaded quickly, the installation process may take several minutes, because the wizard will download additional files before installing anything. The software is compatible with all modern Windows versions and it works straight out of the box, so you don't have to install any prerequisite tools or services.

The user interface is laid out like a real tablet. It presents icons on a desktop, along with a Google Search bar, as well as other elements. You can imitate taps and swipes with the mouse, by clicking or clicking and dragging. Additionally, a series of special controls, located on the right edge of the interface, allow you to emulate physical actions, like shaking or tilting the device.

All apps and menus look and behave like on an actual Android-powered tablet. You can create multiple pages on your desktop, move and group icons, pull down a menu on the desktop, to see notifications and a few quick options, and, if you have a webcam, you can even use a camera feature.

The software gives you free and unrestricted access to Google's Play Store. You can browse the store or search for a specific app and install it on your emulator immediately, with a single click. Apps and games work like on a tablet, but instead of tapping and swiping, you will be clicking or clicking and dragging. What's more, games may run even better than on tablets, especially if you have a powerful computer.

Anything on Google's Play Store can run smoothly on your PC, thanks to XePlayer's powerful emulation capabilities.

Pros

You can run Android apps and games on your PC. The software looks and works like a real-life tablet. It makes the most of a computer's hardware, so you can run your apps as smoothly as possible.

Cons

There are no obvious drawbacks to address.
